Kids In The Hall’s Kevin McDonald at Chemically Imbalanced Comedy Chicago May 5

Originally posted at The AV Club

Kevin McDonald, stand-up comedian and one-fifth of the legendary comedy troupe The Kids In The Hall, will join the cast of Chemically Imbalanced Comedy for one night only, providing comedic kindling for its improvisational fire. As one of the founding members of The Kids In The Hall, McDonald helped propel the troupe to comedic renown and success in both Canada and the United States with its television series in the late ’80s and early ’90s. Though he often bore the title of “everyone’s least favorite Kid In The Hall”—a running gag—McDonald starred in some of the show’s funniest recurring bits, with roles such as “the real Buddy Holly,” one of the French fur trappers, and Sir Simon Milligan (a man “possessed by many polite demons”).

McDonald will be at CIC May 5 for a show starting at 10:30 p.m.
